Have you ever seen someone in the distance and get the feeling he’s going to pull your soul out by just looking at you?  I know I have!

This is the story of such a person.  Who, doesn’t only have each and every ‘quality’ to make him a ratified SPV, but he’s also so dark and creepy that we can compare him with one of the Dementors in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books.  This is why I’ll call this SPV: Dementor SPV.

His motto: “…Later” --- Later? ...what the hell does that mean? …and, even if you ask him, because you know he’s a sponge and he doesn’t have a job… but that’s what he’ll tell you as he goes out the door… “Later”… as if!

His life’s a ‘mystery’.  No one knows where he’s going or where he’s been… out all day but not working… like the rest of us mortals.  He sometimes, and with no explanation at all, shows up with a brand new luxury car… only he knows from whom or where he got it… and ‘disappears’ it again with no details whatsoever.  I’d rather not ask if I don’t know what I’ll do with the answer!

Is he a good provider? Yeah, well… if you take into account that the only beneficiary is the casino he spends most of his time in, then yes… he is a pretty good provider… but not to his family!

By being a ratified and consecrated Dementor SPV he managed to manipulate someone enough as to marry her and, to top it all, have children.  The ‘pleasure’ didn’t last long as Dementor SPV decided to take his ‘perception mask’ off - the kind of perception SPVs require people to have of them - and selfishness stepped forward as his wife seemed to take being mistreated… and when you’re dealing with SPVs if you give them an inch…!

Then Dementor SPV grows emotionally ‘gone’ from his ‘captive audience’ aka family… starts pushing everybody’s buttons… not holding back.  And, as if his spiritual misery weren’t enough, he turned out to be financially miserable too… ceased paying rent, didn’t come home for days at a time, and got deep in debt… But, not pleased enough yet… he decides that his ‘blissful attitude toward life’ was someone else’s fault, so Dementor SPV adds verbal and physical abuse to the mix… Result: recipe for disaster!   And, not only abusive toward his wife, but with the children as well… (So freaking intense, believe me!)  SPV… that says it all! 

Dementor SPV starts blaming one of the children for his deficiencies as a father, husband and provider… and I’m telling you that he didn’t hold anything back.  The insults are so cruel and severe that, to a child, they’re a nightmare… and I’m not sure if even worse than a beating.  Anything I tell you would not even begin to describe how cruel this freaking Dementor SPV was.  And he dares call himself a ‘victim’!!!

Once you start blaming a child for your own faults, it means you’ve got shit instead of brains.  He’s proven me right every day of his life… Yes, he’s got shit instead of brains!    And, please, notice I said ‘instead of brains’ and not ‘in his brain’ as that would imply that there’s room for both.

There came the day in which his wife couldn’t stand it anymore and ran for her life… literally… as she’d been losing, little by little, her spirit and her future.  She didn’t want that promise for her children.   About time - if you ask me - as they were living with a true dementor.

When this Dementor SPV finds himself ‘abandoned’ he decides to go crash at mommy’s house for a couple of days as he’s a little blue… Yes! He’s freaking depressed!!! …and ends up at a small, but vacant, maid’s room… well… as if beggars could be choosers, right?  

At mommy’s he wouldn’t lift a finger.  He once broke, by accident, the couch leg and… of course, a couple of books underneath do the trick, right?  I mean, so long as no one attempts to sit down… you could call it fixed!  God forbid he should grab a hammer, nails or glue… No, see… that implies moving!

He begins going in and out of the house at all hours of the day… seemingly moving, seemingly working, seemingly running for office… which, by the way, could be the best way for an SPV to earn a living, right?  I mean, manipulation and perception are their area of expertise and, given the fact that in politics he who moves does not appear in the ‘picture’… well... SPVs would be ahead of the pack!

Now he has a change of heart and begins, carefully, preparing the path to reconciliation with his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ and, for an entire year, Dementor SPV begged for her forgiveness.

SPVs’ dreams, usually, come true when the most sentimental period of the year arrives… Christmas… this is when manipulation flourishes and blossoms… and Dementor SPV knows this and, of course, promises, assures and manipulates here and there, making his ‘herd’ of followers and his ‘captive audience’ think he’s changed.  Let me remind you that SPVs don’t change… they alter themselves… but NEVER change!

And Dementor SPV seems to have it all again!  But… yes, there is a ‘but’ in the life of Dementor SPV… his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ inherits some money.  Just enough to make a down payment on a home.  They still have like a gazillion payments ahead, but it’s a start.  And if ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ has a job and Dementor SPV seems to have a job… well, piece of cake, right?  Yeah, see… piece of cake for the rest of us mortals that don’t take the whole thing as a plot against us!

Well, let me tell you, that there is nothing worse, for an SPV, than feeling you are rubbing their dim-witted lives in their faces.  This experience, to their twisted psyches, would only remind them of how freaking useless they are.  Hence, if I didn’t buy it… you can’t have it!  As if!

Needless to say, Dementor SPV ‘loses’ his job and cannot keep up with the house payments.  Consequence: bye-bye house!  And, with no job and no home… the abuse against ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ and kids starts over.  Consequence: The ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ splits again… this time forever.  She asks Dementor SPV for a divorce - and this part is ridiculous - Dementor SPV begs her not to as that would kill his ‘political aspirations’… Now that’s a good one! …I almost peed my pants when I heard that one!!!   (please strike ‘almost’!!!)

But, because his so freaking good at manipulating people, his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ buys it! …and keeps on being an ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ just so Dementor SPV’s ‘herd’ of stupid followers wouldn’t blame her for his misfortunes, as well.

When divorce is no longer a fact, Dementor SPV resumes the abuse and adds obsession to the equation… yes, obsessing about the life and whereabouts of his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’… sort of: You have got to be crazy if you think you can get rid of me that easily. 

But he realizes that his manipulations, obsessions and ‘disabilities’ in life are getting him nowhere with his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’, so the plot thickens when Dementor SPV decides that he cannot go on with his ‘life’ so long as this evil ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ is in the picture as a reminder of his inadequacy as a father, husband and earthling…  Out he goes to seek a Santero - like Wicked Witch in story No. 2, so it’s gottta be a fad! - and has his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ cursed and all.

His intentions are not clear to me… but, what gets me is that he does all this not caring about anyone finding out.  The small, but formerly vacant, maid’s room at mommy’s house is packed with Santero material.  There are candles and pictures, red ribbons and dusts...  so freaking creepy!

The children keep being verbally abused when they visit Dementor SPV, especially one of them… but can’t do a thing… the Mexican way is: don’t complain unless you’re dead!!!  - SPVs must have thought of that one!

So even when these poor little kids cried out for help from the ‘herd’ of stupid followers of Dementor SPV, they were ignored… invisible… that ‘herd’ did not only dismiss what they witnessed, but swallowed each and every word that came out of this Dementor SPVs mouth… Can’t believe it? Yeah, well it’s true!

I wonder… What makes an adult ignore the cry for help from a child and decides the abuse is justified?

OK… earth to me!!! … He’s an SPV… Case in point!  And if manipulation, uselessness and lack of empathy weren’t enough, now it turns out that Dementor SPV is the ‘victim’ here… ‘Victim’ of everyone else but him… ‘Victim’ of the lack of consideration from his children and his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’!!!

Not only is he not cut out to be a Daddy, but his whole ‘herd’ of freaking followers is no family material either!  Dementor SPV expects the children to vow before him, to call him, to provide him with attention and love… Aaarrgghh!!!  He treats them like shit, but he wants love… and he’s the adult here!!!

Dementor SPV managed to convince his ‘herd’ of stupid followers that verbal abuse wasn’t wrong… so long as it was a group thing (remember they work their best as a crowd… thus: ‘herd’), as to make the children feel they had no one to turn to.  A freaking hell them visits to Dementor SPVs habitat!!!

Now… if you add paranoia (for what I’m about to tell you) to the mix of: useless, abusive, depressed, and dementor… well, the end result is of unimaginable proportions!

Whenever the children visit their Dementor SPV dad, the ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ gives them money so they can grab a cab back home just in case something goes wrong and they have to sneak their way out… ooops!!!

This makes Dementor SPV go bezerk.  He thinks he’s ‘Center of the Universe’ so this is not a gesture from a concerned mother… nop… this is about him, see? …Dementor SPV claims that his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ is rubbing his uselessness in his face… Humm …Let’s see… Yeah… HE IS!!! He’s useless!!!  …you don’t need any more proof… just take a look at his life!  But, I’m telling you, SPV’s psyche is so freaking complicated!

This Dementor SPV is a deadbeat dad… has no job, worthless as a human being and, to top it all, he treats his children like crap… but he doesn’t think he’s useless!??!!  Gimme a break!!!

But, life is good sometimes and there comes the day in which his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ meets prince charming whose only presence tones down Dementor SPV.  Yes, SPVs only go after those they can manipulate and control… the rest of us mortals are just mere practice on their path to ‘victimhood’.

Lots of good things have happened in the life of Dementor SPV.  He’s thrashed them all... jobs, a chance in politics, marriage, relationship with his children, and so on.   Now, no one can stand him… everyone gulps him down like a bitter pill… he’s lost his touch as manipulation goes with his ‘herd’ of stupid followers… and he knows it… and goes nuts and gets freaking depressed!  I mean… sure!  As if he needed excuses for his deficiencies!!!

He still lives with mommy who would rather treat him as ‘disabled’ before accepting he’s empty.  He’s no longer welcome… but ‘poor thing’, what’s he gonna do all by himself?

To his somber and depressed presence as Dementor SPV he’s added bitterness.  He’s been his worst enemy.  He might at a party, surrounded with people, and the ‘wrap up’ is there… but he’s, in fact, gone… I don’t know where, but I’m sure it’s far… some other dimension maybe… his emptiness is substantial but his darkness is more… it is no joke… he does look like a freaking dementor!

Karma… once again the blessed karma that always shows up!

The shattered spirit of his ‘awaiting-to-be-ex’ and children has not recovered yet… but they are living happily ever after, like in a fairytale, and… though the children visit Dementor SPV once in a while, their new life gives them the comfort of a new promise for the future… away from the violent presence of their, still present, past!

Know anyone like this?  If so, I hope… with all of my heart… that you’re able to get away before you end up losing your spirit and your essence!
